Cannock Silverblades - Learn to Skate Private Lessons

Anyone, no matter their age or ability, can book private and group ice skating lessons. Indeed, all the top skaters in the world are taught by both private and group tuition.
At Silver Blades you can choose from a variety of lesson options.

• Private lessons: 15, 20 or 30 minutes in duration.
• Group tuition: 30, 45 minutes or an hour.
• “Mini-lessons” are available during selected public skating sessions from £2 per person.

For those that are keen to do more ‘fancy stuff’, it is recommended that the skater have 1 or 2 group lessons a week along with practicing 3 or 4 times a week.

The lessons are delivered by the coaches from The International School of Skating (ISS).
All the professionals are fully insured and qualified members of The National Ice Skating Association (NISA).

Prices

Lesson charge consists of coaching fee (paid to coach) and ice charge (paid to rink).
All bookings must be in advance.

Coaching Fees: One to One Lessons
Coaching is on an individual basis with the skater.
£7.50 per each 15 minutes

Coaching Fees: Group Lessons
30 minutes - £6 per person
45 minutes - £8 per person
1 hour - £10 per person

Ice Time Charges

Skate UK, iceFitness and Prime Time members: £3.50
Non-members: £3.70

Ice time (“patch”) fee needs to be paid to the rink in addition to the cost of the lesson.
Skaters using public sessions for lesson or practice pay session admission charge.
